Pederson’s comments are fairly surprising given that players rarely speak candidly about trade rumors, much less list current teammates who would likely be involved in the deal. But as we’ve learned this season,And he isn’t wrong that the Nationals would require a king’s ransom to part with Soto, who would be one of the most intriguing trade chips to ever hit the market.
