Sen. Scott Wiener proposed legislation Wednesday to help bring a massive floating pool to the San Francisco Bay. Developers have been working on the project since 2020, and Wiener's bill brings it one step closer.
Piers 30-32, the site of the proposed project, is owned by the state so pool developers need special legislative approval.
If Wiener's bill passes, developers will seek approval from other city and state agencies.to Port of San Francisco officials in November.
