Gunfire in the San Francisco's Fillmore District on Tuesday night led to a police chase on the Bay Bridge that ended with several individuals being detained, officials said.

The San Francisco Police Department said it responded to a report at 6:07 p.m. of gunshots on the 1200 block of Buchanan Street. At the scene, officers learned the shots were fired from a car that then left the scene, and they obtained a vehicle description, police said in a statement.
