The April concerts at the Moody Center are his first major shows in the Lone Star State since 2024.
San Antonio area-native George Strait has added two more Texas concerts to his 2026 itinerary. And, sorry, Alamo City fans, they’re both in Austin. The multi-platinum-selling country music legend will perform Thursday, April 9, and Saturday, April 11, at the state capital’s Moody Center with William Beckmann opening.
Those shows are in addition to dates on Friday, April 24, and Saturday, April 25, the recent Kennedy Center honoree has booked at Lubbock’s Jones AT&T Stadium with Miranda Lambert opening.
