Quarterback Geno Smith is reportedly traded from the Las Vegas Raiders to the New York Jets, marking a return to the team that drafted him in 2013. The trade involves draft pick swaps and could be finalized pending a physical examination and the start of the new league year. Smith's career has seen highs and lows, including a comeback with Seattle and a recent stint with the Raiders. The Jets already have Justin Fields in their quarterback room.
After a turbulent season with the Las Vegas Raiders , Geno Smith appears poised for a full-circle comeback. Rather than release him, the Raiders agreed to trade Geno Smith to the Jets, ESPN reported Tuesday.
