After two years away from radio, Unathi Nkayi will return to the airwaves on Monday 2 March, and her excitement is almost tangible. 12:00 to 15:00Speaking at a private lunch with a few members of the media, Kaya station manager Greg Maloka said Unathi ticked all the boxes when it came to what they were looking for."We could not get a better woman for this gig, and we're really excited to have her.
The atmosphere was light and fun as everyone gathered around a table at posh restaurant, Marble, in Johannesburg. Unathi was brimming with joy as she discussed her return to radio. "It's rare to be able to work with a team of people that you admire, and I truly have admired everyone that I'm going to get to work with," she said.
She added that the reason why she chose to stay away from radio for so long was that"South Africa hadn't caught up with the fourth revolution and I found that to be a pity."
