Gov. Gavin Newsom compared his look to that of notorious “ American Psycho ” movie character Patrick Bateman, earning widespread mockery for the bizarre boast. In a post on X Monday night, Newsom showed a split-screen shot of his face side by side with actor Christian Bale’s from his portrayal of the serial killer in the 2000 horror flick.
