Unplanned gas work complications result in a temporary closure on Moorland Avenue 🚧
A temporary road closure has been put in place on Moorland Avenue at the junction of Tritton Road in Lincoln due to “unexpected complications” with gas works.
Cadent has been carrying out works over the past two weeks to repair a gas escape on Moorland Avenue.Cadent said the temporary road closure will ensure works can be carried out safely and as quickly as possible. A spokesman for Cadent said: “We understand that this road closure will cause frustration and inconvenience to road users and residents, but we thank them for their patience as we undertake these vital works and take the necessary steps to ensure that our engineers are able to work safely.”
