A Garfield Heights Police Chase ends with multiple firearms recovered from this vehicle according to scanner traffic. The entrance to Miles Road is closed while Garfield Heights Police process the scene. Garfield Heights Police Chief Mark Kaye said at 1:05 a.m. Thursday, an officer saw a Chevy Cruze traveling north on Turney Road at a high rate of speed.
According to Chief Kaye, the driver did not stop, did a U-turn back to Garfield Parkway, made a left on Broadway Avenue and continued driving, at times speeds reached around 90 mph.The driver, a 21-year-old man, his male back seat passenger and his female front seat passenger were transported to MetroHealth Hospital for evaluation.
Chief Kaye said the driver not have a license and has multiple warrants for his arrest, including a felony out of Cuyahoga County for carrying concealed weapons.
