During a heated session of First Minister's Questions, Deputy First Minister John Swinney lashed out at Conservative MSP Craig Hoy for disrupting proceedings with his shouting. Swinney demanded Hoy 'stop behaving badly' and listen to the Presiding Officer.

Swinney said: "At the same time as we've got a budget cut of £160 million about Winter Fuel Payments, we're affording over £800m of additional costs to meet the cost of pay bills so that teachers and nurses and other members of the public services who are delivering vital services in our country..."
