The frontal system will be affecting Extreme Northern Luzon while the easterlies will affect the eastern section of the country on Tuesday, PAGASA reported.

Batanes and Babuyan Islands will have cloudy skies with rains due to the frontal system with the possibility of flash floods or landslides occurring due to moderate with at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies and localized thunderstorms with flash floods or landslides possibly occurring during severe thunderstorms. The forecasted Heat Index for Metro Manila ranges from a minimum of 42 degrees Celsius to a maximum of 43 degrees Celsius.The heat index is the measure of the temperature that a person feels in contrast to the actual air temperature.The wind speed forecast for the western sections of Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao is light to moderate moving in the west to northwest direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.

The rest of Luzon will experience light to moderate wind speed moving northeastward while coastal waters remain slight to moderate. The wind speed forecast for the rest of Visayas and Mindanao is light to moderate moving in the northeast to north direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
