The Friends of the River Oaks Theatre, a non-profit established to help save the shuttered River Oaks Theater from demolition, will host a fundraiser on June 10 and 11. The group will be selling old theater seats and photos from major movies.

The group will be selling of the old theater seats as well as photos from many major movies.
Also for sale will be promotional movie stills from hundreds of movies, courtesy of film fan Blase DiStefano while complimentary popcorn will also be on hand.In addition to helping spare the River Oaks Theatre, the Friends of the River Oaks Theatre also hosts film-related events throughout the city.
