Sony Pictures Classics has released Freud's Last Session teaser trailer for the upcoming historical drama.
The video features two brilliant men as they discussed each of their beliefs over the existence of God. The film will have its world premiere tomorrow at the 2023 AFI Fest, followed by a limited release on December 22.“On the eve of the Second World War, two of the greatest minds on the twentieth century, C.S. Lewis and Sigmund Freud converge for their own personal battle over the existence of God,” reads the synopsis.
Freud’s Last Session is directed by from a screenplay written by Mark St. Germain, based on Armand Nicholi’s book The Question of God. Joining Hopkins and Goode are Live Lisa Fries, Jodi Balfour, Orla Brady, Stephen Campbell Moore, Rhys Mannion, David Shields, Pádraic Delaney, Tarek Bishara and more. The film is produced by Alan Greisman, Rick Nicita, and Meg Thomson.Maggie Dela Paz has been writing about the movie and TV industry for more than four years now.
