Steven Miles' popularity among voters has picked up speed as campaigning heats up 100 days out from the Queensland election, but David Crisafulli remains the state's preferred leader, fresh polling has revealed.

Voters however have still ranked Mr Crisafulli as the preferred premier, with 40 per cent believing he would do a better job leading the state compared to 29 per cent in favour of Mr Miles. The fresh poll showed a total of 44 per cent of voters were not happy with Mr Miles' performance, a fall from 47 per cent in April, while 25 per cent were undecided.
