The R&B singer has revealed the shocking reason for pulling out of the second weekend of Coachella as rumours swirl around his replacement.

The star is following medical advice after suffering several injuries before his first show, his representative confirmed on Wednesday.

Frank Ocean’s representative revealed the extent of his injuries affected his ability to perform the original production, and doctor's advice led him to call it quits on the festival. “After suffering an injury to his leg on festival grounds in the week leading up to weekend 1, Frank Ocean was unable to perform the intended show but was still intent on performing, and in 72 hours, the show was reworked out of necessity,” the statement read.
