A Fort Worth police officer was arrested on a DWI charge after driving his car off the road this week, the department announced Thursday.
Fort Worth police responded to a call about a car driving off the road about 4:40 p.m. Tuesday, according to the department. When officers arrived, they determined Thompson was the car’s driver, and arrested him for suspicion of DWI.
