A&M, in what’s likely a first among NFL pro days, used the Aggie Band’s exceptional drill field across from Aggie Park to conduct drills, then moved over to the football program’s grass practice fields south of Kyle, allowing the players to perform on both artificial turf and natural grass. “Guys leave for reasons,” Fisher explained of why he welcomes back players who transferred and still want a shot at the next level via an A&M lifeline. “The transfer portal, there are some good things about it and some tough things about it.
