Two people were killed on an Ogden roadway after heavy equipment that was being hauled by a tow truck dislodged and was sent into their SUV.
Former prosecutor Nathan Evershed said the manslaughter and obstruction justice charges make sense, but it's the aggravated assault that stands out. Evershed believes the assault charge is for the people in the car that survived, and he said he'd be surprised if it gets filed, let alone proven.
