News 8 Now said that police said the valet at Park MGM asked Arnette for his ticket when the incident occurred. However, it said the arrest report said that Arnette had thrown that ticket away. Police said that when the valet asked Arnette for help identifying his car, the former NFL player responded, “Give me my (expletive” keys.” The valet told police that is when they heard the “sound of a gun cocking,” according to News 8.
The Raiders released him in November of that year after a video surfaced that appeared to show him with a gun and threating to kill someone. He was signed by the Kansas City Chiefs, but was arrested back in January and charged with two counts of assault with a deadly weapon, carrying a concealed weapon without a permit, and two counts of possession of controlled substances, and was subsequently released.
