One of Ohio State football's all-time great receivers was arrested Monday in Louisiana.

Former Ohio State football star and current New Orleans Saints receiver Chris Olave was arrested on a charge of reckless operation of a vehicle in Louisiana on Monday. Olave was taken into custody for driving 70 miles per hour in a 35 mph zone. As of 12:20 a.m. Tuesday morning, Olave remained in the Kenner Jail, an employee there confirmed to cleveland.com.Ohio State vs. Rutgers Nov. 4 kickoff time, network announcedOlave is in his second season with the Saints.

Olave started for Big Ten championship teams in 2019 and 2020 and spent four seasons with the Buckeyes. He finished as the program’s all-time leader in touchdown receptions with 35, and also ranks third in career receptions and fifth in receiving yards .
