Former Ohio State defensive end Logan George transfers to Washington for his final year of college football.
On Monday, the former Ohio State defensive end committed to Washington out of the transfer portal and will spend his senior season with the Huskies.George made waves at the FCS level with Idaho State before transferring to Ohio State ahead of the 2025 season.
He racked up 56 tackles, 18.5 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks for the Bengals, but never made an impact for the Buckeyes after suffering an undisclosed injury while being surpassed by freshman Zion Grady on the depth chart. He played 19 total defensive snaps in 2025. With senior Caden Curry having exhausted his eligibility, Ohio State is waiting on a decision from redshirt junior Kenyatta Jackson Jr. to see where it stands in terms of potential starting defensive ends for 2026. The Buckeyes are also actively pursuing transfer portal targets on the edge, including Alabama's Qua Russaw. Sophomore Zion Grady will also be a candidate for increased playing time, if not a starting job, next year. Redshirt senior C.J.
