A former teacher and guidance counselor at Northside Independent School District has been sentenced to 16 years in federal prison for distribution of child pornography, federal authorities said. He was charged in 2021 and resigned from the district. At that time, Northside issued a statement that said in part: 'Northside ISD has cooperated fully with authorities investigating these allegations. There is no indication that any of the allegations involve any current or former NISD students.
