Danny Simpson is set for his boxing debut after joining KSI's Misfits league
Simpson, who also won the Premier League title during a spell with Leicester City, will face YouTuber/streamer Danny Aarons on a show staged by KSI's Misfits on August 31. The fight will take place at the 3Arena in Dublin.
Simpson has been working as a pundit for MUTV in recent years, covering United. He also returned to Carrington last year to begin work on his coaching badges. "They've been in touch and asked the question, but I think at the minute I want to focus on getting back into management, not boxing," he said on The Overlap podcast.
Elsewhere on the bill in Dublin, KSI will perform an exclusive music set, while Deen The Great puts his lightweight championship on the line against Fogarty. Ben Williams will also face Warren Spencer.
