The foster father was cleared of allegations that the child was assaulted, while the foster mother was also found to have intimidated the child on two occasions.
The former foster father of William Tyrrell has been found guilty of intimidating a different child, but cleared of allegations that child was assaulted.A Sydney court previously heard the couple's home was bugged by police for more than a year and secret recordings, which were played to court, captured several arguments with the child.
The foster father denied one assault charge in relation to an allegation he applied pressure to the child's neck when the child tried to remove themselves from a "time out". The magistrate found the foster mother had intimidated the child on two occasions, including by saying the child was going to "cop it" during an argument, and that she would "slap" them across the face.
