The duo retired from football and threw themselves into property development

Adding almost £100,000 in value, Andrai Jones and Ryan Higgins ripped out the 1930s semi-detached property in Childwall to turn it into a modern family home. Andrai and Ryan met at Southport Football Club and turned to property development when their careers came to an end.

Andrai and Ryan decided to create a bright space with floor to ceiling bifold doors that lead onto the spacious garden. Respecting the home’s 1930s style features, they also updated the exterior with a new front door, windows, tiling and paintwork to add a modern touch, whilst preserving the external brick features.

Ryan was forced to stop playing football professionally for good when he discovered he had ARVC in 2018 - a rare heart condition that can be life threatening if left untreated. Turning to property development, Ryan has been working as a project manager since early 2019.
