Peak travel summer season is underway, but not everyone loves to fly.
Brian Morris , a former fearful flyer , and airline captain Emma Henderson created Flight Deck , flashcards to help people conquer their fears of flying on planes. A former fearful flyer , who figured out a way to manage his fear, is now sharing his method with others."I'm that guy who sits on the plane sweating and sometimes crying and needing a lot of attention from the flight crew," Morris said.It was very turbulent," Morris said.
"And I realized that I didn't know if I was going to be able to get on the plane and actually get to Florida to be at the wedding," Morris said."Brian and I met up because when I was working for my airline, we ran fear of flying courses and I was a fear of flying presenter," said Henderson, a veteran pilot.
"So when I was dealing with my fear of flying, I was writing down all of the information that I was learning," Morris said. "Like the sensations that a plane would make, the sounds a plane would make.""And he realized — we both realized — that there was a market for that because so many people have that fear," Henderson said. "And so Brian turned this idea into an actual deck of cards.
