Hardy didn’t give up on fighting, though, and Friday night he made his debut with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship taking on Josh Watson.Watson knocked sent him stumbling backward into the ropes at the end of the first round, and then dropped him flat with a left hook in the second. It was a brutal knockout of the heavily favored Hardy.
Watson was 1-1 with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship. Prior to that, it had reportedly been eight years since he forged an unremarkable foray into mixed martial arts. This was an ugly loss for Hardy in more ways than one and it might just be time for him to move on from fighting, too.
