Former Dallas Cowboys center Travis Frederick recently joined The Ben and Skin Show on 97.1 The Freak to discuss Zack Martin’s holdout ending.
What were you thinking when you saw your friend Zack Martin get a deal done?“I think it’s a really good thing across the board that that deal got done. You know, I think that Zack is a first-ballot Hall of Fame talent, he is exceptional at what he does on the field. But I think the bigger impact that he makes on that team isAnd in the offensive line room. Without him, he’s the leader of that group.
And so having him in there, I think, helps from a variety of reasons. And obviously, he was under-compensated for where he sits. You can ask 100% of the guards in the league to name their top five guards, and I promise you 100% of them are gonna say Zack Martin in that top five, if not in the top two, or top one. So, he’s still at the best in his game, even though you know, you may claim that he’s a little bit older now or he’s in year nine.
