Drogheda United reported to have turned down two bids for centre back
The defender left the Sky Blues in January to join League of Ireland side Drogheda United.
Keeley became a firm favourite at Warden Street after joining from Cabinteeley, but United "reluctantly" placed him on the transfer list in January after the Dubliner expressed a desire to move closer to home due to a change in personal circumstances.A move to Drogheda was secure with Keeley becoming a mainstay in the heart of the defence making 27 appearances for Kevin Doherty’s side.
Standing at 6 foot 5, the Dunboyne native has impressed for seventh-placed Drogheda this season, who moved one step closer to securing Premier Division survival with a 3-1 win over Cork City last Friday. Notts County on the other hand have made a decent start to the season and sit in fourth place in League Two after winning three of their first five games.
Keeley began his career with Shelbourne and was handed his senior debut by Doherty during his time in charge back in 2015. Sign up to our f ree sports newsletter to get the latest headlines to your inbox
