PETALING JAYA: Foreign diplomats returning to Malaysia will not have to undergo the 14-day mandatory quarantine at designated quarantine centres, says the Foreign Ministry.
In a statement on Monday , the ministry said that foreign diplomats were however still required to undergo the Polymerase Chain Reaction Covid-19 tests at their country of origin.
“The Malaysian government has made it is compulsory for all arriving individuals to download and install the MySejahtera application that would enable the Health Ministry to monitor users’ health conditions, and for the MOH to be able to take immediate actions in providing the treatments required, ” the ministry also said.
