As the name suggests, the package is based on the range-topping Platinum trim and comes bolstered by Ford’s larger extended-range battery pack as standard equipment. This 131-kWh battery pack is slated to provide owners with a targeted 300 miles of range, which is in line with the 2023 offering. Output will come rated at 580 hp and 775 lb-ft of torque.
On the exterior, the matte hue is not a painted finish, with Ford opting to wrap the trucks with some help from 3M instead. The wrap is applied over the brand’s Agate black color, and is backed by a 3-year/36,000-mile warranty. Gloss black accents dot the exterior, while 22-inch matte black wheels complement the wrap job. Other adjustments include a black tonneau, agate black running boards, and a smoked light bar.
