A 65-year-old man was killed after being attacked on a golf course by a man who had been evicted from his family home earlier that day. The attack was suspected to be random with no prior connection between the victim and the attacker.
A Florida man died after being beaten with his own golf clubs and choked in a suspected random attack by Junior Boucher, who was recently evicted from his family home. Brian Hiltebeitel, 65, was playing golf at the Sandhill Crane Club on Monday when Boucher attacked him. Witnesses heard Hiltebeitel scream for help before being beaten and chased into a pond. Police Chief Dominick Pape indicated that no prior connection existed between the two men.
Boucher, who fled the scene and was later subdued by law enforcement, has a history of violent behavior, including arrests for domestic battery, battery on a police officer, and drug possession. He was charged with first-degree murder and held without bond
