A 28-year-old Alabama woman was killed in a two-vehicle, head-on collision Thursday in Florida’s Okaloosa County, and the driver of the other vehicle was subsequently arrested, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Stillman was operating a 2020 Ford pickup traveling southbound on Stanley Lane. The victim -- a woman from Red Level in Covington County, Ala. -- was traveling northbound in a 2024 Hyundai Palisade when Stillman’s pickup crossed into her lane, the FHP said. She attempted to swerve right but was unable to avoid the collision, the highway patrol said.
