The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office said they arrested 3 women for alleged animal cruelty.

Deputies said they rescued dozens of animals after preforming a welfare check at a home on Florida Avenue last month.

Jarah Lee, 44, Bonnie Sue Hahn, 46, and Eveland Colbert, 20, are charged with 14 counts of aggravated animal cruelty after they being arrested on July 12, according to officials.“It was great to be able to work in conjunction with PAWS and their staff to enforce Florida laws. Along with our Investigators Michael Kruger and Nate Bowen, they did outstanding work to get the suffering animals to safety. Alaqua Animal Refuge is also assisting with the mission.
