Florida political influencer and former NYPD cop John Cardillo was asked to leave a Fort Lauderdale restaurant Sunday after arguing with pro-Palestinian staffers.The ex-police officer and prominent backer of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said two waitresses began cheering as a truck drove by carrying people waving Palestinian flags.
Cardillo — who said the manager threatened to call police if he didn’t leave — then posted the restaurant’s phone number.“John Cardillo is a hero,” one person wrote. “He’s not a Jew. He’s a man of common sense and decency and has a brain.”
