NYPD searching for woman who slapped pro-Palestinian protester, investigating as possible hate crime
The NYPD says it’s searching for a woman who allegedly made an “anti-ethnic statement” and slapped a man’s face during Saturday’s pro-Palestinian protest on the Brooklyn Bridge., the platform formerly known as Twitter, appears to show the woman shoving and yelling at a crowd of people during the protest.
“You deserve death,” she repeated several times before slapping someone in the crowd, the video shows. It’s unclear from the video who she struck, but the man filming the incident said she was “hitting people” at the protest.gathered in Brooklyn and Manhattan Saturday to protest for a ceasefire in the ongoing bombardments of the Gaza strip.
