Rochester, N.Y. — Crowds are gathering for theHippity Hop Community Fun Run/Walk for Bivona Child Advocacy Center, which is taking place Sunday morning.Fleet
Fleet Feet is hosting its annual Hippity Hop CommUnity Family Fun Run and Walk on Sunday, March 24, 2024, to benefit the Bivona Child Advocacy Center. , a non-competitive, family-friendly event is taking place Sunday morning.The event benefits the, an organization that serves children in the Greater Rochester region, assisting in child abuse response, healing, and prevention through collaborative service, awareness, education, and leadership.
Participants were asked to donate juice boxes, bottled water, or Gatorade to support the children of Bivona Child Advocacy Center. Every child that comes to Bivona is provided with food and drink as part of their healing process. Donations of juice boxes, bottled water, or Gatorade will directly support these children in their journey toward recovery.
"Hippity Hop was started in 2019 as a CommUnity event to incorporate walking and running with giving back by way of collecting drink donations for Bivona Child Advocacy Center," said Fleet Feet Owner Ellen Brenner-Boutillier. "Plus, this is one of the Easter Bunny's favorite events as he loves to see families and friends gather for a group activity, donning bunny ears, eating pancakes, and collecting donations for a wonderful organization that supports children.
