Ian McCart, 31, was found to have a mass roughly the size of a 50p piece growing inside his skull after he 'ignored' his debilitating headaches for 'months on end'.

A 'fit-and-healthy' Scots dad was diagnosed with a brain tumour after ignoring his debilitating headaches for "months on end".

From there, he was raced to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow by ambulance to undergo several tests. A CT scan found that the dad - who enjoys MMA fighting, boxing and who trains at the gym four times a week - had a non-cancerous mass growing inside his skull that was roughly the size of a 50p piece.

Ian was rushed into the emergency theatre where surgeons installed a stent into his skull to prepare him for his second bout of surgery. His second operation, which removed most of the tumour, lasted 21 hours and left him needing to learn how to walk again after he lost his coordination.
