Emergency services raced to the incident on the A719 Waterside to A77 Ayr Road after receiving reports of a collision involving a silver Skoda Octavia and a motorbike at around 3.10pm on Saturday, June 15. Crews attended, however, the 56-year-old male rider was pronounced dead at the scene.
Their current conditions are unknown. Police say inquiries into circumstances surrounding the crash remain ongoing. "Our inquiries remain ongoing and I would appeal to anyone who witnessed the crash or who may have dash-cam footage and who hasn’t already spoken to officers to get in touch.”
