The refreshed minivan brings subtle exterior tweaks, but the cabin and rear design carry over almost untouched

2027 Pacifica arrives as a mild facelift with minimal changes overall. Inside, the only visible update is a revised steering wheel hub design. Chrysler has confirmed select trims will cost slightly less for 2027.

Chrysler pulled the wraps off the 2027 Pacifica last week, but focused almost entirely on its reworked front end and kept everything else out of view. That now looks deliberate. Fresh photos shared with Carscoops make it clear why, because beyond the updated nose, the rest of the minivan carries over with barely any noticeable changes from the outgoing Pacifica. One of our readers recently came across a 2027 Pacifica in Select trim sitting in what looks like a holding lot, offering a real-world look at the updated model. Just like in Chrysler’s official images, all the meaningful changes are concentrated up front. You get new daytime running lights, revised headlights, a reshaped grille, and an updated Chrysler wing badge. That is where the story largely begins and ends. Read: Chrysler Just Priced The 2027 Pacifica Facelift, And Buyers Might Like The News Disappointingly, the rear appears unchanged, aside from a new badge. The taillights, including the full-width light bar, carry over, as do the bumper and tailgate. You might clock the new front end in your mirror, but as it passes by, there is little to give away that it is the 2027 model. Stellantis appears to have been penny-pinching with the cabin of the 2027 Pacifica as well. As a matter of fact, there’s almost nothing to differentiate it from when the current generation model was unveiled a decade ago. A Very Familiar Cabin Photos Lekh Maharaja / Carscoops Look around, and it is all familiar. The main dashboard is identical, as is the lower control panel housing the HVAC controls and the rotary gear selector. The cheap, plastic air vents have been retained, and it doesn’t even look as though the infotainment display has grown in size. Even the steering wheel is largely carried over, with the only noticeable change being the hub, which has been smoothed out, losing its contours and picking up the new badge. Chrysler has yet to say what will power the 2027 Pacifica, but it is expected to rely on the company’s familiar 3.6-liter Pentastar V6. If there’s a sliver of good news for buyers, it’s the fact that the prices of some trim levels have been cut for 2027. For example, the mid-range Limited FWD is $1,025 cheaper than last year, priced from $49,705, and the Pinnacle FWD is also now $1,680 more affordable, starting at $54,910. Prices have also been cut for the Limited AWD and Pinnacle AWD. Curiously, both the Select FWD and AWD have seen prices hiked by $100. Many thanks to Lekh Maharaja for sharing the photos!
