More changes on the way for Thanksgiving week
MONTGOMERY, Ala. - First Alert for patchy areas of dense fog this morning. A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect for all of central and south Alabama through about 9 a.m. Once the fog lifts, temperatures will warm back into the 70s and 80s.
Rain chances return Friday, and we’re tracking even more changes as we approach Thanksgiving week. In addition to the fog, conditions stay mild. Morning temperatures are in the upper 50s to lower 60s. This afternoon remains warm, with highs climbing into the low to mid-80s under a mix of sun and clouds and a steady west-to-south breeze. Overnight lows will stay mild—in the 50s and 60s—with partly to mostly cloudy skies.Watch the latest live and local weather data below, streaming on WSFA Weather Now! Please note, this stream does not include live severe weather coverage, only data on the latest weather conditions. Cloud cover increases Friday as a frontal boundary approaches. Highs stay warm, in the 70s and 80s, with south to southwest winds. Rain chances increase throughout the day. Lows once again fall into the 50s and 60s as we head into a weekend that looks to include some wet weather. This weekend, rain chances stick around as the system moves through the region. It doesn’t look like a total washout, but spotty showers are possible, mainly Saturday morning. Temperatures hold in the 70s and 80s during the day, with lows in the 50s and 60s at night. Another boundary is projected to move through sometime in the middle of next week, bringing another round of rain and thunderstorm chances. There are still a lot of question marks with this system, so expect adjustments. Stay tuned for updates.
