Nottinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service sent eight appliances to the scene
A recycling firm has issued an update after a fire raged through its premises. Eight fire engines attended the scene at the Enva waste centre at the Colwick Industrial Estate on Friday, August 30.
A spokesperson for Enva said: "We can confirm that a fire was reported at around 2am at our Materials Recycling Facility in Colwick Industrial Estate, Nottingham. Our emergency response procedure was immediately initiated, and the Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service attended to bring the fire under control.
"We would like to thank both our own employees and the fire service for their prompt and professional response."
