Firefighters were called to a blaze in London, believed to have started after a ‘lithium battery bubbled’ inside a house.
It has been reported that the fire began after a lithium battery, used in vapes and often in e-scooters, ‘bubbled’ inside the house in Davern Close.
Fire crews used hose reels and positive pressure ventilation in order to extinguish the blaze that ripped through the terraced house. The London Fire Brigade drone team used thermal imaging cameras to help fire commanders tackle the flames.Firefighters spent four hours tackling the blaze that was put out around 4pm
