Nottingham continues to be home to scores of highly-rated bars and pubs as a recent survey placed the city in the UK's top ten for places to enjoy a drink. Despite ranking low
apparently due to safety concerns, research by Get Licensed found that Nottingham has 41 bars per 100,000 people.several well-loved watering holes have been forced to close in recent months. Overall, organisations including the Campaign for Real Ale have long been drawing attention to the direction of travel being a"dwindling number" of pubs and bars in recent years.
