The National Shooting Sports Foundation has filed a lawsuit against Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul, challenging the constitutionality of a recently signed law that allows the prosecution of gun manufacturers for specific marketing practices.

Democrats, who control all levers of the state's legislative and executive branch, also have a 5-2 majority on the state Supreme Court.
