All a bit busy, if you ask us. Maybe that’s why there’s been a movement in Springfield to look into conjuring up a new flag.The effort to change the state flag recently took an important step, with Gov. J.B. Pritzker signing a bill that sets up a commission to look into a design for a new flag. If all goes well, a new flag design could be brought before the General Assembly by December 2024.
