However, due to a family illness, Dave Matthews had to withdraw from the event. Despite this setback, FireAid promises to be a powerful display of solidarity and support for those affected by the wildfires. Between the musical performances, the event will feature speakers, including those who have personally experienced the devastation, first responders, and firefighters. All proceeds from FireAid will be directly channeled to those impacted by the wildfires, with a dedicated 501(c)(3) organization established to manage the distribution of funds through the Annenberg Foundation.
