FireAid, a star-studded benefit concert aimed at aiding victims of the devastating California wildfires, is set to take place at two Inglewood , California venues. The event, featuring performances by prominent musicians like Maroon 5, will be broadcasted and streamed live on multiple platforms, including Apple Music, Apple TV+, Max, iHeartRadio, KTLA+, Netflix/Tudum, Paramount+, Prime Video, the Amazon Music Channel on Twitch, SiriusXM, Spotify, SoundCloud, Veeps, and YouTube.
It will also be shown at select AMC Theatre locations across the United States.The concert was initially conceived as a collaboration between Taylor Swift and Dave Matthews, marking their first joint performance. However, due to a family illness, Dave Matthews had to withdraw from the event. Despite this setback, FireAid promises to be a powerful display of solidarity and support for those affected by the wildfires. Between the musical performances, the event will feature speakers, including those who have personally experienced the devastation, first responders, and firefighters. All proceeds from FireAid will be directly channeled to those impacted by the wildfires, with a dedicated 501(c)(3) organization established to manage the distribution of funds through the Annenberg Foundation.
