The board members of the Super League club have issued a press statement saying players' salaries are being paid and they hope to solve their financial conundrum through a unified approach.

"The board members of Kuala Lumpur United Football Club Sdn Bhd, who convened for a board meeting on Thursday , are pleased to announce that the board has cleared all the misunderstandings that arose," it said in the statement. "Moving forward, the board unanimously agrees that all press statements will reflect the unity and collective decisions of its members."We are unified and will stand behind the club to ensure Kuala Lumpur continues its strong start to the season, beats the odds and keeps producing results."The club also owed Employees Provident Fund payments from last year, which was revealed by board member Syed Yazid Syed Omar.

But Kuala Lumpur Football Association acting president Datuk Abdullah Sani Abdul Hamid came forward to say the salary arrears and delayed EPF payments from February last year will be settled soon.
