THE WOODLANDS — Sunday’s final round of the Chevron Championship at The Club at Carlton Woods resumed play at 9:49 a.m., following a 49-minute delay because of rain and lightning in the area.
The final grouping of co-leaders Allisen Corpuz and Angel Yin are now schedule to go off approximately at 1:19 p.m. off No. 1 tee. Their original tee time was 12:30 p.m. The 72-hole tournament had weather delays in each of Thursday’s first round and Friday’s second round. Corpuz and Yin have a 54-hole score of 10 under. Sharing third place at 9 under going into the final 18 holes are Amy Yang, Albane Valenzuela and Megan Khang.
