Western Cape police are investigating the murder of a 53-year-old farmer on Piket Bo-Berg farm in Piketberg on the West Coast. | nickymccain

"When the police arrived on the scene, a body was found on the premises, which was half covered with a bin. He was already declared dead on the scene by medical personnel. He sustained blunt force trauma [on] the right side of his head," police spokesperson Captain Frederick van Wyk said."An undisclosed amount of cash was taken from the deceased's desk. The circumstances surrounding this incident are under investigation.
